JOB VACANCY: Safety & Health Officer 

Job Description

- Initiate, execute and supervise the practical implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) at workplace
- Advise and ensure that the safe work system is implemented as planned
- Submit monthly report to Project Manager on occupational health and safety at workplace
- Carry out regular site inspections and HSE meetings
- Accident Investigation Team coordinator; tracking of incident report closure and corrective as well preventive action
- In-house training/induction/briefing to employee •Safety briefing/tool-box meeting for contractor/client
- Issuance of Permit to Work and Hot Work Permit; monitoring of compliance
- Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control identification for each work process/department
- Planning, coordinating and data review as well as corrective action planning for health, safety & environment monitoring
- Other tasks assigned by manager

Requirements:
- Registered with JKKP (DOSH)
- Environmental/Health/Safety Engineering or equivalent./Degree/STPM/Diploma
- Possess a diploma/ degree in Civil/ Environmental Engineering or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the oil and gas industry / Fresh Graduate also can apply
- Familiar with OHSMS standards i.e. OHSAS 18001 and MS 1722 requirements
- OGSP
